EXPRESSION OF INTEREST for INCENTIVE PAYMENTS 2009/2010

Expressions of Interest are sought from individuals, partnerships and groups for projects in the Murray Mallee Local Action Planning area that aim to improve natural resource management and establish sustainable farming systems.

Proposed projects that will attract incentive payments include: 

• Protection of remnant scrub through fencing and threat abatement
• Revegetation using local native species
• Stabilisation and revegetation of unstable dunes to reduce wind erosion and recharge to the groundwater aquifer and increase farm productivity
• Revegetation of stable dunes and shallow soils over limestone to reduce wind erosion and recharge to the groundwater aquifer and increase farm productivity

  General Notes:

• All Expressions of Interest will be assessed by the Murray Mallee Local Action Planning Association and applicants will be contacted individually regarding the completion of a full works program for projects.
• Completion of this form is not binding and does not guarantee an incentive payment.
• All incentive payments are subject to the landholder agreeing to maintain the works for a minimum period and signing a partnership agreement with the Murray Mallee Local Action Planning Association Inc.
