The MMLAP is working with the RHD Boost Team to help with the release of the RHDV1 K5 virus (a variant of the rabbit haemorrhagic disease virus). We will be assisting with the broadscale release of the virus and the associated monitoring.

The release is currently scheduled to take place in the first week of March 2017, with pre-release spotlight counts to be undertaken at all sites during February 2017.

We will be working with our landcare groups in this program. We will keep you posted as news comes to hand from the RHD Boost Team in January 2017.
